Migration to Office 2010 POP3

  So I was attempted to migrate a few emails, specfically old email messages from Windows Live to Office 2010. I could not migrate using the obvious tool since I'm not using Microsoft exchange. I used windows live exporting abilities, but it saves to the desktop. Is there another way to export the data from Windows Live Mail to Office 2010.
