Remove Small Towns From Map View RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is there a way to remove small towns from a map view in S&T 2013?  I never had this issue in S&T 2010.  For example, if I want to view the Boston metropolitan area, S&T 2013 shows all of the small, insignificant towns surrounding Boston, which makes the view extremely "cluttered" with towns.  However, in S&T 2010, these same small towns to not appear, which gives the view a much cleaner look.  I use S&T to create a map view for presentations and would like to have the "cleaner" look like I am used to in S&T 2010.  I have searched for a way to not display towns under a certain population, say 25,000 people, to no avail.  Please provide any guidance if you have any.

  • Does Streets & Trips have the Map Features functionality that was introduced in MapPoint 2010? If so, you can use this to control what is displayed.

Go to the Legend & Overview and see what window options there are.
