  • Question

  • I would like to access my server with my x-box one like I could with my x-box 360. Is there a way ?  Thanks Mike

  • In short the XBOX One does not support xbox extender technologies.  I believe it will support the DLNA functions the Windows Home Server 2011 does deploy.  This article describes a work around but it does not support traditional extender functionality that I am aware of.

You question never mentioned windows media center so perhaps that might not be applicable when you say "I can not access windows 2011 from my xbox one".  I'm not sure from the way you phrased the statement.

  • I am not a tech I am just a end user LOL I don't see any Icons or short cuts to go to the server ? The 360 hit my videos or my pics and the name of my server pops up click it and I'm in. I don't see any thing on x-box one ? Is there a way via my pc running windows 10 ? I don't see a way to link on but I read that it will mingle with 10 ?

  • Hi,

I would recommend you to post on Xbox website for official support:
