OLAP Build Stuck

Question
-
Experts, we have project server 2007 sp2. the olap cube builds fine except when I add any project level fields to the Assignment cube under Server Settings-->Configuration. The cube starts and gets to the "Analysis Services session started" step and it just sits there. I have to go to the Queue and cancel it. if i remove the Project Level codes back the cube builds fine again. what's going on?Tuesday, June 22, 2010 4:37 PM

I would isolate the issue as below.
a. Specify working analysis server name in the Test server PWA
b. In the other environment PWA specify the Test server AS server
So that you can narrow down, whether it is PSVR or AS issue.
If it is PSVR issue, you can try after RDB refresh.
If it is AS issue, compare the working and non-working.

Hello hadie,
Be sure that the Project Level EPM code is a not a multi-select table code.
Also, if that is not the issue, how is the "Project Level" EPM defined.

Hi Michael,
The Project text fields are using lookup tables but no "multi-select" is allowed. One of the Project fields is a Flag. Even when I add that the Cube gets stuck
Thanks
