Windows Live OneCare is not working RRS feed

  • We have Windows Live OneCare running on 3 computers. It has stopped running on one of the computers and won't restart.
    When it stopped running this is what it said on the screen.
    "The Windows Live OneCare service is not working or has been stopped. To correct this problem, try restarting your computer". 
    We did reboot the computer and it didn't change anything. We have also tried to open Live OneCare and it won't open.
    I went into tools and settings and tried to turn firewall and antispyware back on and it is not available.

  • The most common reason for this is that the computer date and time are incorrect. Right click the clock in the system tray and select adjust date/time. Check the month, day, year, and time carefully. Adjust as needed. Reboot once the time has been corrected.
    If that does not help, please contact support opr consider trying a reinstall of OneCare on the affected PC before contacting support.
