SSRS2008 - Cannot export to word

Question
-
Running SQL Server Reporting Services 2008 has an option to export to Word. I am using an SSRS report that I created that mimics a standard medical claim form, which was created to replace an old Crystal 9 version of the same form. I learned very recently that the customers of the company I work for would generate the Crystal 9 version of the report, and export it to word to do their own tweaking.
Anyways, when attempting to export the SSRS version of said claim form to word, I get the following error:
---------------------------
Export Error
---------------------------
An error occurred during rendering of the report.
An error occurred during rendering of the report.
Destination array was not long enough. Check destIndex and length, and the array's lower bounds.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
I have heard that the old SSRS2005 export-to-excel option would generate the same error if any database fields were larger than 256 characters. However, I cannot find any fields in the return dataset that exceed this limit. In fact I can export to excel with out issue (well, other than formatting issues).
Does anyone know of a way to fix this issue?Monday, August 17, 2009 9:36 PM
