I currently have a icon (masked virus contained) on my task bar, how do I delete it with out continusly clicking on it and having to remove virus again and again? It is not in my computer panel add and removal spot. I can not even right click on it. When I try to remove it, it automaticaly changes my internet settings to make itself the internet home page. I do have Mcfee and Live Care neither of which removes it, just contains it.

  • My first concern is that you state that you have both McAfee and OneCare installed. You need to uninstall one of them as having two antivirus programs installed can cause performance problems and other unexpected issues. If you choose to keep OneCare and it cannot remove the malware, please contact OneCare support for help with removal.
