    I'll appologise first for this as I'm sure it's going to sound very silly to some.

    Sorry!

    I want to use Live Mesh to control my parents machine (sort out problems for them).  Do they need to have a passport and id or is it ok to have my ID logged in on their machine as well as my own?

    If they have an id of there own would I be able to connect to their mesh?

    You will need to sign in with your Windows Live ID on their machine and install Live Mesh (if not already installed). Then you can add their device to your mesh as long as you are on their machine and signed in with your Windows Live ID. Afterwards, you will be able to remotely access their machine as if it was one of yours from any other devices.
