    I attached my HP2600 color laser printer to the server and it works well after sharing it, but only if I access it from my XP computers (XP home, XP pro, and XP MCE), not from my Vista Home basic edition, it says that the spooler service is stopped, and to contact network administrator. Any suggestions please?

    You probably need different drivers for your Vista PC. HP has drivers for both 32 and 64 bit Vista which appear to be different than the XP drivers.
