Microsoft Math 3.0 Equation Solver XER

Hi everyone. I have a registered copy of Microsoft Math 3.0. However when I type a simple quadratic equation into the equation solver, such as x^2+x+2=0, it tells me the answer is all real values for x, which is not possible. Does anyone else have or has had this problem and could help me fix this? Thank you.
