After 7 years of using Office 2002 suddenly my copy is not genuine despite having product key and COA RRS feed

  • Question

  • In the last few days every time I open Word I get an annoying message telling me that my Office software is not genuine, needs activation. If I go into the the help drop menu of Word or any of the other programs and attempt to Activate Product my software tells me that it is already activated. Office 2002 has been loaded on my computer since 2002. The software came with a COA, the discs have holigrams and I have a product key. The computer has not been serviced by a technician for more than a year. The only event that the MGA message conincides with was a recent auotmatic updates.

How do I get rid of the messages and the annoying little star in the right hand corner of my screen. Please don't tell me to go buy genuine software - I already have that.

  • Hello Sawasdee,

Please run the MGA Diagnostic Tool and provide us with the results.

    Thank you :-)
