Can't figure out what use an .spj file is! RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm trying to make a panorama with ICE.  The old ICE would let me save the image as a .tiff or .jpg and I could print it from that.  But now the program saves in a .spj format, which I'm totally unfamiliar with and have no idea how to use.  How can I change it to a .jpg?

  • Surely someone on this forum knows how to save the .spj as a .jpg!

  • Sorry it took me so long to get back with you.  Thanks, it worked.  Sure wish I could find a tutorial for ICE.

  • Chris, the .spj file is just ICE's own project file that saves the disk locations of the input images, how they overlap and blend, which camera motion is being used, any customizations to the projection method etc.

You save it, in case you got your panorama exactly as you like it and might want to export that exact stitch as a different format in the future.

There is no effect without a cause.
