SharePoint Forums Missing?

Question

Hey, GuysIt's amazing and more disappointed.
Why can not I find the forums dedicated to SharePoint? Now I'm at home to access the forum. It's not found in the page:I clearly remember it was in the category list about 3 hours ago when I was at office. I had posted a thread in it:http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepointadmin/thread/b4957178-bd9d-492f-af9a-9d6020cf3604.BUT IT'S NOT NOW.Last week, this aslo happened to me, I'm unhappy to post a thread about MOSS in the incorrect forum:Hope this well soon.... Thanks.

This is really off-topic as you have posted several messages today (including this one http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepointadmin/thread/b4957178-bd9d-492f-af9a-9d6020cf3604) to the SP forums. The SharePoint forums are in both the MSDN and the TechNet forum systems and the list of all the forums is here http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/sharepoint for instance (in the technet forums).I really thing this post should not have been made here. It is by no means a bug with the forum software that you can't find forums that you actually seem to be able to post to !

Yes, this is a "feature" that causes endless confusion. Forums belong to a "brand", SharePoint belongs to the MSDN brand. You have to use a URL that starts with social.msdn.microsoft.com to find the forum.

Hans, in this case that isn't the case. The SharePoint forums are one of the sets of forums that are present in both brands.I always use TechNet but need to move to the MSDN "version" to Move posts to "its" forums (so I don't and move them to Off-topic instead)

Yes. I just find the correct site. I note that TECHNET just is going after SOCIAL in the url. It's sure staying in http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/sharepoint
But I have been always confused before. I believe many others aslo must have the same unhappy experience.
I think it's better to add a clear sigin(link) to tell people to enter the MSDN child forum or the TechNet forum. Or threads of both should be listed in the top categories: http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US
Thanks a lot
