CRM 2013 Add a Write In Product after deleting a Product RRS feed

  • I have stumbled upon some strange behavior.  When I add a product to either an Opportunity, Quote, Order or Invoice I have the same issue.  I cannot add a new Write In Product after I deleted a Product.

    To simulate the issue:

    1. Add an existing Product to an Opportunity (or a Quote, Order or Invoice)

    2. Delete this Product

    3. Now add a new write in Product to the same Opportunity (or a Quote, Order or Invoice)

    For me, the system populates the Quantity and Price of the just deleted product into my new Write in Product.  It leaves the Name field empty and goes into an endless loop trying to save the Write In Product.

    Can someone please confirm this issue?  If the issue is only on my side, how can I trace the bug?
