SQL Time Out Error when Clicking to Page 2 of Account Dashboard RRS feed

  • I've got an odd one for you.<o:p></o:p>

    When searching for an account in the Dashboard (out of the box) Account View and
    enough records are returned that it goes to a second page (13) then click to go
    to page 2 using the navigation on the dashboard, it spins until it eventually
    times out and throws an SQL time out error. Dashboard view is limited to 8
    records per page.<o:p></o:p>

    If I run the same search, but click on the account name to sort it Z to A, I can click
    next page with no errors. Using the left hand Nav Accounts and searching brings
    back all records with no issue (count per page is bigger). <o:p></o:p>

    Me as an administrator has no issue clicking through pages of the same query, and I
    bring back 100 times as many records. If I change my security to match that of
    the user having the issue, I can repeat the issue on my machine, 2 others have
    now reported seeing the same thing.<o:p></o:p>

    We are using security, Team Security, and a hierarchy of Business Units for our users
    <o:p></o:p>

    CRM 2011 Rollup 15. <o:p></o:p>

    My developers have looked at both the query and the security and are not able to
    see anything that would cause this.<o:p></o:p>

    Has anyone else seen this? Please let me know what further information I need to provide
    to help pinpoint the issue.<o:p></o:p>
