Project Server 2010 and SQL Server 2012 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

In my current project, we are using Project Server 2010 (SP1 June 2011 CU in production, SP1 December 2011 CU in dev, test - soon to be production).

We heavily use SQL Server Reporting Services for many of the BI dashboards in the solution.

On some of our dev environments we have tried using the CTP & RC0 components for SSRS Integration Mode (Reporting Services Web Part) connecting to SQL Server 2008 R2 as a back-end and we found significant performance improvements.

We are wondering whether upgrading to SQL Server 2012 would provide further performance improvements also but are unsure of whether Project Server 2010 is currently supported with SQL Server 2012.

Looking at this URL: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee683978.aspx  It would appear not just yet.

Any idea's if it is supported, or if not, when it is likely to be supported?

    Kind Regards
