You would be in violation of the OEM or Retail End User Licensing Agreement if you installed and activated Vista on more than one computer at the same time.

Generally speaking, Full Retail licenses for Vista can be moved from one computer to another, but cannot be installed and activated on more than one computer at a time.  OEM licenses for Vista are permanently tied to the computer onto which they are first installed and cannot be moved from the original computer; when the computer is no longer in service, that OEM license "dies" with the computer.

In order to read your Vista EULA, click Start>type winver into the search box and click OK.  In the resultant display window, click the "Microsoft Software Licensing Terms" link to be shown the EULA that applies to your copy.
