  • Archipeld,

Some bad news:  Your Office 2003 Pro installation and your Front Page 2003 installation are both showing as Nongenuine (Office status=114 means nongenuine).  If this comes as a surprise to you, please go back to where you purchased the installed copy of Office and Front Page and let them know that it is a counterfeit copy and that you demand the genuine copy that you paid for. or a refund.  In any case, please uninstall the nongenuine installation of Office 2003 and Front Page as soon as possible.

  • Hi Archipeld,

The first thing I see in the Diagnostic Report (line 1) is that you have not re-activated your Windows after you reinstalled.

Since your Windows is a OEM System Builder type, you may be unable to Activate using the Internet. You will need to use the 'Activate by Phone' option instead.

How to activate Windows XP by phone:
To contact a Microsoft customer service representative to activate Windows by phone, follow these steps:

    1. Click 'Start', point to 'All Programs', point to 'Accessories', point to 'System Tools', and then click 'Activate Windows'.
Or, click the Windows Activation icon in the notification area (aka system Tray).
    2. Click Yes, "I want to telephone a customer service representative to active Windows now".
    3. Follow the steps in the 'Activate Windows by Phone' dialog box, and then click Next.
    4. When activation is completed and you receive the following message, click OK.
"You have successfully activated your copy of Windows".

    Hope this helped!

    Thanks,
    Darin Smith
