wireless connection RRS feed

  • Question

  • ISP was out changed modem.  Ever since can not connect to internet via wireless.  think it has to do with one care firewall settings ????
    any help would be appreciated

  • It should have nothing to do with the OneCare firewall, but you can confirm that by turning off the OneCare firewall to see if that fixes it. Open OneCare, change settings, firewall tab.
    If it works with the firewall turned off, contact support as this should not happen.
    If it doesn't work, then you'll need to focus on the wireless settings. If the modem is a combination modem/router, you will need to set up the wireless connection fresh - refer to the documentation for the modem'router or contact your ISP.
