Record assignment fails with no error message RRS feed

  • We're using Dynamics 365. Overnight, there was an abrupt change. No user can assign any record to another user. This isn't a matter of security roles. Even the admins can't assign records to other admins. There are no workflows or plugins in place that would affect record assignment. I already alerted my MS partner. But I figured it would help in case other people can't assign records either if they can find this on a google search.

  • Sorry, I forgot I posted this here. It randomly started working again later that day. It seems to have been purely cloud/code-related and nothing to do with any settings. I didn't make any changes to make it start working again.
