Windows Mobile 6 (Client Required) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

I work for a Hospital, where we use LEAP (Cisco) as our Wireless Network.
I have an Opticon H19 wireless device which is running Windows Mobile 6 Professional
    (CE OS 5.2.1620)

We are informed that this shoud work, but that we may need a piece of client software.

Is there anyone out there that can shed some light on this for me. I am new to all this so not sure what is required.

    Thanks

    Richard.

  • Is the Opticon H19 a special device used for hospital work?  I've not seen it so that is why I ask.

The specs of the device indicate that it has:
WLAN: IEEE 802.11 b/g (WEP, TKIP, AES, 802.1x, WPA, WPA2)

You indicated that "I have an Opticon H19 wireless device which is running Windows Mobile 6 Professional".  Have you tried connecting yet?

I would expect that it would but if there is an issue, I would bet you IT department can make the appropriate changes so it will connect.
