Asus Ultrabook says Windows not genuine

Question
-
I have a fairly new Asus Ultrabook. Reinstalled Windows 7 to more properly use the harddrives, as many Ultrabook owners seem to do. Downloaded Windows from Microsoft, used the activation code of the original installation. Users folders are on separate drive. A month back I got "Windows not genuine" and reinstalled Windows again after many attempts to fix problem. It worked for a while, but a couple of days back the problem reappeared.

The installed Key is valid only when used with the manufacturer's Recovery media.
You need to change the Product Key to the one on the COA sticker on the machine's case (or inside the battery compartment), using the Change Product Key link at the bottom of the System properties page.
You may need to activate by phone.

That did it! Wonderful, I'm so very greatful! Thank you! Btw, on Asus Ultrabook they've placed the product key on the charger, making it somewhat more difficult to find than usual...

Thanks for the information about the sticker! - That's a new one on me, and technically a breach of the conditions of the license.
Good luck.
