One Care Blues!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a uniqe problem. Back in August I purchased Windows Live One Care from a retail store. Now I want to add another computer to the circle and my live windows id is not right. The computer that I am attempting to add one care to is Anita's , my wife of 31+ years. Awhile back I was using a different windows messenger id and it keeps poping up even though I have unistalled it from Anita's computer. When I attempt to log in on live id, it won't allow me to usa the new id. What am I supposed to do??? Please advise

  • To install and activate on the second PC use the *same* LiveID used to subscribe on the first PC.

If you don't recall the LiveID you used for your subscription, you will need to contact support who can provide that information to you using your Key and/or contact information.

How to reach support - http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=2421771&SiteID=2

Alternatively, sign in at http://billing.microsoft.com with email addresses that you have set up as LiveIDs and one will show your subscription listed - that would the LiveID to use to activate.

  • I just re-read your post. Open Internet Explorer and go to Tools/Options and delete the cookies ad temporary Internet files. That should do it.
