    I have WinRoute Firewall 6 and need some help on how to configure it with HomeServer. to get the remote access working.

  • I can't give the specifics because I don't use Kerio. You should check your product documentation and support resources for more help there. In general, though:
    • Configure your WHS PC to have a static IP address. You can do this by setting it that way on the server, or by setting your DHCP provider (probably the same computer running WinRoute now) to reserve an IP address for your server. The DHCP method is better, because it lets you control name servers and subnets in a single location.
    • Configure your router (probably that same computer) to forward incoming traffic on ports 80, 443, and 4125 to the IP address of your server. There's a post in the Kerio forums that describes a way of doing this. I don't know if it's applicable to the version you're running.
    • On WHS turn off UPnP configuration of your router; you won't be using it.
    • Use the WHS console to configure your homeserver.com domain if you like.
    I think I'm leaving something out, but I can't get to my server right now...
