SSRS default folder RRS feed

  • Question

  • As part of some SQL consolidation we've recently attempted to migrate our CRM SSRS reports to a dedicated BI server. So far we're still working on a development environment and have come across the following issue.

When specifying the SSRS server in CRM Deployment Manager you provide the url to the Report Server.

    Example: http://DevBIServer/ReportServer/

In our case we have two CRM orgs so the root folder in Report Manager shows the following folder:

    Org1

    Org2

    Shared Reports

Since this BI server is being used by other applications it would be nice to have a parent folder called CRM then have the respective org specific and Shared Reports folders go into it. I created a folder called CRM directly in SSRS but have not figured out a way in CRM Deployment manager to point to this path eg. http://DevBiServer/ReportServer/CRM

I've tried different url syntax but it's only accepting the root URL.

Any advice? Is this even possible?

  • I don't think it is possible to change the paths within ReportServer. CRM always creates the structure as above
