Synching Azure tables ? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all. I'm completely new to the sync framework and I haven't used it before. I would like to know whether it would be possible to sync between Azure tables and say, Xml files in Silverlight local storage ? I understand that custom providers can be written, but it sounds like a lot of work. Wasn't there a plan of having a out-of-the-box provider for Azure tables ? I think I remember that, from a PDC or MIX a year ago or so, but now I can't find anything now. Cheers

  • Azure is a new technology. Currently sync framework only enabled SQL Server/SQL Azure database synchronization on Windows Azure, either for desktop clients or silverlight/device clients.

Currently we don't have a out-of-box sync provider yet for syncing Azure tables.
