Problem with .NET Framework

I have been trying to play a game recently, (Ark Survival Evolved), but it wont work. A message pops up saying that i need to install .NET Framework. When i try to install .NET Framework it says it already has been installed. My Frameworks folder inside the Microsoft .NET is also missing. Is there any solution to this?
