Workspace URL? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I’m trying to understand where in the database I can find the _actual_ workspace URL of a Project Server project. Seems I can query the projectworkspaceinternalhref field in MSP_EpmProject (in the reporting database), but this field is showing an incorrect (old) URL. The user swears she published the project. I would think the actual value is stored somewhere in the Published database, but I’m mostly guessing and my web searches are coming up empty.

Thanks. This is Project Server 2007.

  • Hello bvy,

I believe that you can get the information of project workspace url in WSS content Db for your PWA site. Please chekc the data in below table in WSS Content database:

In Webs table check the column ParentWebID

In Webs table check the column FullURL

  • Hi,

I tend to use the ProjectWorkspaceInternalHRef from the MSP_EPMProject_UserView view, instead of the MSP_EPMProject table for reports I do for customers. I would double check that the project was published, and that the Reporting DB sync jobs completed succesfully.
