  • The common cause for these mismatches is a faulty Intel Rapid Storage Tech driver

Download and install the latest version from....

    http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=2101&DwnldID=21730

then run another MGADiag report and post the results.

  • Hello and thanks for looking at this. I was directed to this forum by someone at the windows 7 install forum that tried to help me there as well- http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-windows_install/pc-not-running-genuine-windows/10f1442d-0dff-469a-8d09-b272a00fc983

They instructed me to do something similar and I tried running 3 similar files- iata_enu.exe, iata88enu.exe and a similar file for windows 7. They all returned a similar response that "This computer does not meet the requirements for installing this software. The rest of what I tried is in that link. Thanks!

  • Noel was the one helping you there. he is the moderator of this forum. if he couldn't fix it wga support is the last resort.

he meant to direct you to the wga support website.

    North America: http://support.microsoft.com/contactus/cu_sc_genadv_master?ws=support&ws=support#tab4

    Outside North America:

    http://support.microsoft.com/contactus/?ws=support#tab0

you will have to call the number given.

  • That was where I did direct him :)

It's quite possible that he got stuck on the merry-go-round of the support pages and jumped of at the wrong stop - it confuses the heck out of me, as well!
