Hi,
I am new to microsoft visual studio framework. I am planning to take 70-536 certification exam but in the microsoft website I have seen the following statement under audience profile tab "candidate for this exam work on a team of medium or large sized company and need to have one or two years experience in the visual studio framework".
Please tell me is that a mandatory requirement to take the exam?

The work experience isn't mandatory but is recommended. On the Microsoft Learning site, you have an overview of all the topics covered in the exam:
http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/exam.aspx?ID=70-536&locale=en-us#tab2
As far as training materials go, there is a book available (a Self-Paced Training Kit), that covers the exam:

Friend,
I dont think that it is. If you have adequate knowledge in .NET framework, you may go for the Certification. There are people having more that 5years of experience but not confident to attend the exam. My suggestion would be, prepare well, go for it. This is how you get experienced :)

It all depends on how much hands-on-experience you've had with the .Net Framework (By hands-on I mean actually working day-to-day with the technology, not just reading about it and doing a few lab exercises).
