Problems opening the Word Documents using Office-2007 suite

Hi,

I am having problems opening Office documents using Word 2007.

When I try to open(double click) the file for the first time nothing happens – I don’t even get an hourglass.

The second time I get a message that Explorer is not responding, but after awhile it does open the file.

Any reason why or do I need to fix anything at my end?
