  • Okay, I'm going to delete the other thread, since it is a duplicate.
    The log may be useful to support, but we have no experience with it.

    I can tell you that the 0044 error typically means that a prior installation of OneCare was not cleanly removed.
    As Jim noted above, use the cleanup tool. Then try the isntallation again,
    And, I'll mark Jim's post as the answer - if the cleanup tool does not resolve it, please contact support per the instructions in the FAQ post Jim linked to.
