Out of memory rror in mscrm 4.0 RRS feed

  • Hi ALl,

    Some tim in production sever I gt out of memory error and following are the issue"

    1.       Publish is taking too much of time even if we publish 2-3 entities.

    2.       Sometime we receive time outs when we publish entities.

    3.       Sometime time out occurs when a page loading.

    4.       Performance is not consistent. Sometimes it is fine sometimes it is slow. The pattern is not consistent.

  • Hi Ali,

    My guess is that your sql server is having performance issues.  Here's what I'd suggest:
    a.  make sure you ahve update rollup 6 installed
    b.  run a maintenance job to rebuild your indexes
    c.  Increase your ole db timeout:  OLEDBTimeout

    d.  if issues still continue use perform to determine were the resource issue is at:  disk, memory, cpu.

    I would like to find out more about your environment, do you have everything installed on a single server?  Have you review the CRM 4.0 performance white papge? If not, please download it and follow the instruction to tune your environment to see if it helps.
