  • hello. me and my dad bought an acer home premium laptop from PC world on the third of october 09. installed on the pc was a program called "Microsoft Works" containing all programs such as microsoft word 2007, power point 2007 and excel 2007 along with onenote 2007. for the past month i have been able to use all of those programs without typing in a product key. now a month later i am unable to access them and the producte key states : "the key is incorrect. please verify you have the correct key and retype it" how do i verify my product key. i need my microsoft word 2007 for my GCSE work this month...please help...my product key is located on the sticker on the bottom of my laptop please help

  • Windows Vista Home Premium is the operating system installed on your Acer laptop.  It's very likely your Microsoft Office 2007 application is only a trial version.  To continue to use the Microsoft Office 2007 application after the trial period has ended, you'll need to purchase a product key for it.

    Note:  The product key located on the bottom of your Acer laptop is for the Windows Vista operating system and not for Microsoft Office.
