firewall network connections RRS feed

  • Question

  • i see unidentified networks in network connections. one is an automatic tunneling ps; the other, a 6to4 pseudo interface. are these part of my network, or are these other networks that are connected to mine? if these are other networks, do they pose a threat to mine? can other networks see my info? if so, should i adjust my settings?

  • These are protocols or network adapters on your computer that were likely installed via an offered XP Windows Update for enhanced network functionality. They are used for IPV6, which you probably don't need, but there's no harm in them being installed.
