Yes, idea is to create new email from the existing email and send it again....and mark existing email as cancelled..

You can change a status from Failed to Pending and if you have configured CRM outlook client or Exchange Email Router they will be send to them.
Design workflow - when status is failed change to pending - the only problem it will be trigger workflow for all emails - but you can add a new field called Trigger as bit. Using tsql change value to 1 to all records. Workflow you can setup to trigger then field "Trigger" will be changed.

Great post, but what about a workflow that changes the email status from 'failed' to 'pending send'? will the previously failed email then be delivered?Wednesday, March 24, 2010 11:37 PM
