    Question

  • Hi,

    i try to install hpc pack 2012 r2 but i cannot pass test .

     i block on chekc if the account running setuo is a domain account

    somebody can help me ?

      Could you tell us more details on " i block on chekc if the account running setuo is a domain account"? Maybe a snapshot. And did you running the set up with a domain account?

  • Hey Bill, the log actually indicates why your set up failed as below:

    03:51:17.455 - [CheckRule] Checking rule DomainUser -- Check if the account running setup is a domain account.
    03:51:29.032 - Failed to pass rule DomainUser: A domain account is required to install Microsoft HPC Pack 2012 R2. If the status of this item is Failed, the account under which setup was run is not a domain account. Rerun setup using the credentials for a domain account.

    You shall use a domain account to do the setup.
