Folder pairs not being saved after closing synctoy

Question
-
Synctoy2.0 on Vista.
I have no problems syncing folders and files once I set up the folder pairs, but when I close synctoy, and then re-open it, none of the saved folder pairs are available any longer. I did not have this problem with SyncToy1.4.
Any ideas?
Thanks,

It sounds wired, please check in your system drive disk, just like C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\SyncToy\2.0, is there a .bin file?
As all the folder pairs info are stored in this file.
And would you please take a look what logged on SyncToyLog.log? If you got something would you please share it out, then let us help you narrow down your issue?
Thanks

We did not met this issue before, and now I have Sync toy 2.0 running on Vista(x86 enterprize), it works well.
Does it happen every time?

Yes, this happens every time I create a new folder pair, and then close SyncToy. Once I re-open SyncyToy 2.0, none of the saved folder pairs are available.Friday, September 26, 2008 2:33 AM

Dear Ping
Had similar issue. New folder pair disappeared/was not saved when leaving SyncToy and getting back to the program.
There was a .bin file on my PC, but with the date of the original installation - it didn't change when I added, or deleted Folder Pairs.
Un-install and install didnot solve the issue.
My solution was to rename the .bin file to .bin_old
Then SyncToy did not find the bin file and re-started fresh. Now my SyncToy runs select the right Folder Pair.
