Couple year old copy of Windows 7, showing up as invalid after a computer restart.

Built this computer a couple years ago, got my copy of Windows 7 from NCIX, a canadian brick-and-mortar computer parts store. Uninstalled Norton Antivirus this morning because my subscription was over, it was spamming me to renew, and I wanted to switch to MS Security Essentials. Restarted computer to finish uninstalling Norton and got the Windows is not genuine notification and black background with the "build 7601 this copy of windows is not genuine" watermark in the bottom right.
I should still have the product box for Windows, I'll rummage around and find it while waiting on a reply. Pre-emptive thanks. :)
