Hi,
Clicking the presence indicator next to a CRM contact in Dynamics CRM for Outlook gives you the option to:
- Send a mail, instant message or call the user (+ a bunch of other options)
If I choose to call a CRM contact (we have enterprise voice with pbx integration up and running) there no phone number availible to Call. We ony get the option to add a phone number.
The only way to be able to call A CRM contact is to create a Outlook Contact with the same contact info as the CRM Contact. Doing that makes it possible to right click and call a CRM Contact.
But who want to add all you CRM contacts as Outlook contacts?! Let´s say we have 10 000 CRM contacts...it´s not that nice to have 10 000 Outlook contacts.
Dos anyone know if it´s possible to call a CRM user using the phone number entered on the crm contact info, without adding outlook contacts?
This has to be a problem someone else has stumbled over
