When I attach a document to a library of the project site that is created by the project, the symbol of which contains documents on the site does not appear on the core indicators project.

I believe that you have to republish the project in order for the icon to appear. Hope this helps.

What happens if you create a new item in the issue or risk lists of the project site? Do you see the indicators for those items?
