Deploying Dynamics CRM 2011 On-premise over internet. RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Dear all,

I am planing to deploy my crm on-premise over the internet and i would like to have some suggestions guide from you all.

    My scenario is as follows:

I have my head office in Location A with an active directory installed and a domain (mydomain.com) and I have 3 branches in different locations.

In my branches there are not any AD or Domain configured or installed.

I want to install/setup the crm in my head office in Location A and configure it in such a way that my branches also get access to the crm.

My question is: Do i need to configure IFD and claimed based authentication??

Because i was wondering if i can configure a port forwarding on my router which is in the main head office to point to the crm server, users from branches will still get access to the crm by authenticating to the AD in the head office.

    Is it a good solution??

    Please help me.

    Many Thanks

    Regards

    Vinay
