I am told the product key I type is not the right one for the edition of windows vista RRS feed

     I would like to know if there is a difference betweeen windows vista home premium and windows vista business. Below my laptop windows vista business has been written with its product key but when I use this product key to activate my windows vista I am told the product key is not the right one for the windows vista edition. however windows vista is what is written on the screen of my laptop when i boot it. Are they different ?

    The Windows Vista OEM product key affixed to your computer will only work with the exact edition of Windows Vista it originally came with.  It will not work with any other edition of Windows Vista.
