It's possibly from an add-on that's installed (it looks vaguely like an AVG icon to me) - check in Intenret OPtions >Programs and see if anything leaps out at you,
Failing that, download and install Malwarebytes Anti-malware www.malwarebytes.org and update it, and run a full scan (DO NOT enable the
Real-Time protection option!). Delete everything it finds.Noel Paton | Nil Carborundum Illegitemi | CrashFixPC | The Three-toed Sloth

Yes, Noel the message still appears in the lower right corner. The only thing that happen recently was I was getting a battery not charging message. I'm not getting that any longer. There was also a Windows Update issue, which I think may have been a virus C:\system32\wuault? I ran a scan on my antivirus Avast, and REGCURE scan non paying. The message no longer appears?

Noel, I hate to be a pest but I guess I'm just a little paranoid because I am self employed and have alot of info on this laptop. To clarify, I had to do a "Shutdown" because it didn't go away on "Restart" I do have another question if you don't mind. Has Google changed their logo (I doubt it). Please see the logo that appears in my web address bar when I go to Google. It doesn't appear on other sites?

Google changes its banner most days - have you never noticed it before?
Or are you talking about the Icon on the tab and in the address bar?? That one is a little strange - I would suggest closing IE and then cealring the Temporary Internet Files, and cookies using the Internet Options control panel app.Noel Paton | Nil Carborundum Illegitemi | CrashFixPC | The Three-toed Sloth

Noel,
After battering my head on this one I figured out, it is the logo for Disqus, the social commenting site, which I must admit I've used. I still don't know why it shows up when I go to google??? It must be an add on? Anyway, I'm glad it's no big deal and I am running the scan you recommended to be safe.
Thank you again for your concern and effort, I truly appreciate it.
