Logging database time RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are running OCS 2007 and we have logging set up sending the messages to a database.  The issue I am having is, message and session times are 4 hours ahead.  I have looked at all of the server times and they are correct.  Is there a place where this time is changed within OCS 2007?  I did not set up the system so I am not familiar.  Thanks for your help in advance.

  • The messages are being stored in UTC instead of local time.

  • Yes, data stored in the archiving and CDR database uses UTC time.

  • Can this be changed?  Or is there something I can do to make this the correct time?

  • For SQL itself, if you were writing your own SQL queries, you'd be able to change this, but I don't believe that this is configurable in OCS.

  • Hello,

There is any official document from microsoft, which specify the design configuration on OCS Archiving?
