Windows 10 - incompatible with Easy Transfer RRS feed

    I reluctantly bought a Dell with Windows 10, being reassured that it was compatible with everything. I did the Windows Easy transfer (after some difficulty with old computer - slowing down) from an old Windows 7 computer with 90 GB of data, mostly important pictures. I go to the new computer with external drive to connect and download and I find Windows 10 does not support Easy Transfer. Dell Tech service was confused and not much help. They recommended downgrading to Windows 8.1 (but customer service was closed) unless I wanted to manually move everything over.

    Any one else have this issue? Any easy fix? Why did Microsoft not support it in Windows 10 and not tell anyone, including Dell?
