Fix It Mistake? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I used 'Fix It' to help with a hyperlink problem.  It didn't help, but during the 'fix' process, Mr Fix deleted Adobe Flash.  Now, I can not install Adobe Flash, which I need when I click on certain web sites.  Thanks for any help on this.

PS- I can't find a way to update my email address, but it is now, 'gandcp1@verizon.net'.

  • Hello Yan,

I'm sorry, I didn't notice a number.  But the problem has been resolved. During the 'fix', a message mentioned that Adobe Flash was being removed.  I later found that Adobe Flash has been disabled in my add-on's.  I enabled it and all is fine.  But thank you very much for your concern.  I don't know if you know Outlook support, but  I still have a problem opening hyperlinks in Outlook.  When I click on a hyperlink, a message from 'MS Office' pops up, basically saying "the operation has been cancelled due to restrictions on this computer.  Contact system administrator".  I'm the listed administrator and I'm using MS Office 2007 on Windows7.  I've checked other sources and I guess it just may be a registry problem.  Anyway, thanks again for your interest, I appreciate it.
