WS 2011 fails to backup RRS feed

  • Question

  • Have switched over one of my PCs to use a new UEFI motherboard and the Windows Server 2011 refuses to back it up now --- same disk etc. except for the OS reinstalled under UEFI.  It did worked fine on same motherboard when that machine had a legacy bios setup.

Do I need updates to the server? Suggestions greatly appreciated!

Answers

  • Yes, you need the UEFI Hotfix installed on your server:

  • And, IIRC, you need to run Windows Update after installing the patch.
