Hi, I'm about to load fusion 1.1 on my mac bbot camp partition, is it obvious how to acivate windows XP? I understand I'll have to phone windows where will I find the number? many thanksWednesday, February 25, 2009 11:55 AM

Once XP is installed it will ask you if you want to (1) activate and (2) register with Microsoft. If you have installed the needed NIC drivers so that XP can get to the internet, it will happen over the internet. Note that activation is mandatory but registration is optional.
If no drivers, tell it to do activation later. Then at your convenience, run the Activation Wizard (the keys in the Notification Area [aka System Tray] or on the Start Menu), then choose the option to do a Telephonic Activation. The phone number for your region as determined by your selected Time Zone will be displayed.
