By default the logging in communicator is turned on for all users - which causes those with limited roaming profile sizes to exceed their limit.
Is there a way to automaically disable this logging for all users? Only way I can think of is running a HKCU registry key everytime a user logs on - which we'd rather not do...
There is a communicator.adm policy called turn on tracing for communicator that claims:
If this policy is not configured, then the user can specify the choice in communicator options. Otherwise, the corresponding behavior is enforced and the user has no choice.
However if we set this policy to disable, users are unable to override whatever the value in the checkbox is (checked by default / if they've never used OCS before, and unchecked if they've already changed it to this).
